CBD Pure was founded in 2016 in Vancouver, Washington with the aim of producing “the highest quality CBD oil available.” Until recently, CBD Pure produced only CBD oil. Now, it also offers CBD softgels.
Even with the addition of the softgels, CBD Pure’s product line is sparse. Only three different oil strengths are available. The strongest of these is just 600 mg, which is quite low.
But a small product offering isn’t always a bad thing. CBD Pure takes sourcing and testing seriously, and they live up to their name by producing a product that is, well, pure.
Their hemp is grown using organic practices and is tested at three stages of production (this includes third-party lab testing). Throughout the process, the oil is kept clean and unadulterated.
CBD and cannabinoids are pulled from hemp using CO2 extraction, and they add no flavoring or additional ingredients. Each bottle of their tincture contains just hemp extract blended with a natural hemp oil base.

On the negative side, CBD Pure doesn’t offer much for more discerning CBD users. User Experience
The CBD Pure website is colorful and attractive, but the navigational experience could be improved. It takes a while to find the products, as they are not featured front-and-center on the homepage. There is also no “shop” tab in the header menu, though there is an “order” tab pushed all the way to the periphery.
Once you find the products, things get better. The ingredients and lab results are listed clearly, and the purchasing process is simple.
Customer Service
CBD Pure’s customer service needs improvement. They say they are reachable by phone, email, and Facebook, but we found out that the phone line is only for placing orders, not for questions or concerns.
Next, we sent an email with our questions… and had to wait five days for a response. The response we received was brief and not very friendly, but the information provided was clear.
On Facebook, the company responded within a day.
We were also disappointed with CBD Pure’s FAQ page. As a company that could appeal to first-time CBD users, the information here is far from comprehensive, and it creates more questions than it answers.
Purchase/Shipping
CBD Pure ships to all 50 states as well as Canada and the UK. A flat-rate shipping cost of $6.95 is applied to all orders.
As we mentioned above, all products are eligible for a full refund within 90 days even if the product has been opened and used. To get a refund, customers need to send the product back with whatever CBD remains inside. Customers are responsible for paying return shipping costs.
The products we ordered were shipped in protective packaging and arrived on time.
Transparency
CBD Pure products are subject to in-house testing and third-party testing, and the lab results are easily accessible on the site. We especially like that CBD Pure placed an interactive lab report on its homepage to educate customers on how to read the results.
Lab reports are available for each product offering and are updated regularly. CBD Pure even has an easy search tool allowing you to look up lab reports from the last two years.
In CBD Hacker’s independent tests of CBD Pure’s products, we found the information on the product label to be accurate, with a margin of error of just 5% (very low).

However, more experienced CBD users may want to opt for a producer which offers lower costs, a more diverse range of products, and more strength options.
